The Bradford, LLC, also provides a secured Alzheimer’s Unit. This environment is a slower pace with a lower staff to resident ratio. It is designed to be bright and airy, allowing the wandering resident a safe environment to wander, at will.

The Unit is self-contained, in that it includes bathing facilities, dining facilities, in addition to the newly decorated bedroom facilities. When a resident no longer understands their need to wander and their disorientation is confusing, this environment is a smaller, less stimulating one that helps decrease agitation and promotes a more tranquil environment.

It also includes a large covered patio equipped with beautiful patio furniture with a walking path to allow the residents to get outside. This is a unique environment specifically designed for the Alzheimer’s or demented resident that is no longer comfortable in a large space with a heightened level of stimulation.

We have several physicians that come to the Facility to see the residents and monitor their progress. You are welcome to use your own physician, but an in-house physician is familiar with the nursing facility requirements and geriatric medicine. The available physicians are:
